What a pity !!

I was supposed to take another Hindi Lesson today but because there was a fire in another office so people who used to work there moved to the other office where I usually had the lesson. One manager told me that the office would be cleaned up this week then remake again. This is too bad, there is no place to take a lesson, I guess I have to wait and see at least one week…what a pity !!

I can smell curry everywhere

Some people told me that we can smell Kimuchi (Korean pickles) every where inSouth Korea. here but I didn’t really smell it when I was in Korea.I am pretty much sure that we can smell curry everywhere in India.I think one of the reasons is that there are not many kind of food and curry is very cheap in India. Please don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t say that Indian curry was not tasty the matter of the fact it is really nice. Like I said that there are not many kinds and decent price of food they eat curry. When you just come to India for the trip, you would be nice ,you can eat good Indian curry very cheaply. However, if you live in India, you would have get food problems. You would get tired of Indian curry in one month and have to cook by your own or have to spend much more money to eat Chinese or Italian food.

This is one backyard in India. I think we can see this kind of places in India.I took this photo in Bangalore where I studied last year.Cows are very holy in India. We can see them not only backyard buit also on the main road.This is India.
However, I don't know why some of my friends told me that India is a beautiful country.Well, I have seen some beautiful places, one of them is Taj Mahal.That looks great! but I can't tell my friends India is a beautiful country but very interesting country.It still worth visiting for the trip but it is very inconvenient to live here.

This is an normaal interest in India lately.If we put money in a term deposit for a year, we can get 9.5% of interest.I heard there is 30% of interest tax.even so, it is still very high compared with the general Japanese interest rate.that is less than 1%.There is also 20% of interest tax.I don't know why most Japanese people still put most of their savings at a bank in Japan.If Japanese people want to double their capital, they need at least 72 years(72 / 1 = 72).There are not much prospective for their promotion or raise salary cos salary for Japanese people are already one of the highest in the world.In my opinion,they should take more resk and invest in a prospective marlket like India.If we put money in one Indian bank, our capital would be doubled in 8 years.

First of all, lets look at this dog. Do you think he is dead?
Actually he is sleeping.Do you know why he is sleeping during day?
Because dogs are very active during night.They always bark late night and make a big noise!!.Dogs look lazy and harmless during daytime but once it is late night, they are very dangerous.
There are so many homeless dogs in India.when you come to India, you should take a injection for dogs.If you don't take the injection, shouldn't go out at night.

There was fire in one office.

There was fire 3 days ago at night in our one office.
one colleage told me that and I didn't go for wokr the next day.I stayed at home.
When I went to the office yesterday, I saw how bad burnt it.seems the half of the office is affected by the fire.most of computers there was broken.I didn't think it was such bad.
There are so much ashes on my desk and can't use some document, I can smell all my things...
Fortunately we have another office nearby then we can move there and work.
Our company has bought a new office. we will move there in 2 months.
It would often suddenly happen those strange things in developing countries.
This is also a challenge...

Hindi Language Study

Since 25th of August, I have begun to study Hindi language.
I take a private lesson 3 times a week, one and half hours for one time,the best of all is I can take that lesson during a working hour.
I can study another language and get money from that in a way,haha.
I am very interested in learning foreign languages.I can now speak Japanese,English and Chinese.
Learing Hindi language is very useful in India because Hindi is one of the formal languages in India and many of Indian people understand that.
If I can speak Hindi, it is not only good for my another language to evaluate myself but also good to know what local Indian people think.I can work more localy in India.
I don't know many Japanese people can speak Hindi language or speak 4 languages.
However, it take much time and need much patient to learn it....

It is 5th of September today.Ganesha festival is 3rd of Sep and it was holiday however the festival has still been going on...the time is now 10PM.
they have begun around 9:30 PM.it should be finishing time if it was in Japan but not in India.
it is getting noisier...I am afraid it will continue this weekend...

Another Challenge

Finally I arrived in Mumbai on 2nd of August in 2008.
I have been working in a Japanese IT company as a Global Sales Manager since 12 th of May which is my birthday.I worked May 12th to end of July in Japan then transfered to here Mumbai.I guess I will have to work here at least 2 years maybe more.

I have studied,live and worked in Australia,HK,China,Thailand,Vietnam and India since I graduated from university in Japan.I guess I have done pretty well so far.
Now I can speak English, Mandarin Chinese, also have some working experince abroad.

Working in India is another big challenge to myself.
I don't know what I should do but I will do my best while I am in India.
My another challenge has just begun...
